You are worthless. Granted your back-up support from October was a little lacking, but you should be used to that by now. You know it is your job to usher in fall, change the leaves to any color other than green, bring in Christmas spirit and goodwill, let me wear my scarfs and sweaters and hats AND allow for hot stews and baked apples. I know it's a big job, but in years past you've done a tolerable job.
However, this year has been a total fail year for you. It's a week from Thanksgiving and 74 degrees. Do you know how silly I look in my scarf? I'm wearing it because it ought to be cold. Here in Texas I don't have the longest scarf and hat season in the world, but I love my hats and scarfs. I need a chance to wear them.
And then those pesky Northerners keep complaining about how cold it is. We were so excited that it got into the 50s one day that we lit a fire. That's how desperate we are down here for a little fall action. It shouldn't be so much to ask for. Just don't tease us with 2 semi-cold days and then warm right back up to 80. My hip doesn't like it when you do that.
So please November, bring your "D" game for us. We really aren't asking for much.
Sincerely,
North Texas
